In 2019 - 20 you have the opportunities to join us for the "Dasht-e Lut" program and cross Lut desert to witness the world’s best examples of aeolian Yardang land-forms (the bedrock features carved and streamlined by sandblasting), extensive stony deserts, dune fields plus the ridges and corridors oriented parallel to the dominant prevailing wind. (The ridges are known as Kaluts. In the Lut Desert some are up to 155 m high and their ridges can be followed for more than 40 km)  that are all gather in one place in Eco adventure way, as a part of us to enrich your traveling resume with this less discovered country... .


The program in which you are invited to, is to join a team which operates by the members who combine their experience and knowledge with their sense of leading-professionalism to Cross Dasht-e Lut and create a life changing memory in the 2019 -20 program.



What is "Dash-e Lut Safari"?


Dash-e Lut Expedition describes self-reliant adventure travel to remote destinations where the crossing Dasht-e Lut is the primary goal. accommodated by mechanized off-highway capable transport (desert safari vehicles) where the principal form of lodging is camping and tradiyional home-stay. 


Technical terrain will be encounter throughout the journey, and the travelers may even seek out the most challenging route to a destination as part of their experience where the primary objective is to cross Dasht-e Lut in Iran and The purpose is to include of the following: 1. Cross Dasht-e Lut in 9 Days, 2. visit Gandom Beryan plateau,Chal Markazi,  Zaban-e mar canyon  3. Under-explored or under-documented regions Discovery, 4. Self-reliance in unfamiliar territories for multiple days 5. stony desert pavements (Hamada) with sand-blasted faceted stones (ventifacts) 6. visit active dunes that reaching the heights of 475M and are among the largest dunes in the world.

Day 1

Reach to Iran IK airport, pick up and check in to hotel in Tehran. sightseeing in Tehran.



Day 2

Hit the road to Yazd, check in the hotel sightseeing in the evening  (overnight at Yazd)


Day 3

Discover Yazd, The city with historical structure of the Iranian with a collection of public-religious architecture was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list.


Day 4

Breakfast in Yazd and head to Kerman, check into hotel & sightseeing at evening


Day 5

Breakfast, head  to Keshit and visiting this tree shaped village and get to know about their life style in edge of the desert, then heading to Shahdad. overnight in shahdad (Rrural House)


Day 6

4x4 Over-Landing via the edge of the high sandy hills, heading to Shahdad, visiting Gandom Beryan, plus its old fortress & date-palm groves, Nebkas (Desert Vases ). visiting East and West Kalout (Overnight Camping + Fulboard meals)


Day 7

4x4 Over-Landing to Gandom Beryan- Chal Markazi- Zaban mar canyon (Overnight Camping + Full board meals)


Day 8 ( Recovery Day)

4x4 Over-Landing to canyon Zaban Mar – Rig Galan (Overnight Camping + Full board meals)

Location info


Yazd is the capital city of Yazd province in Iran the city is located 270KM southeast of Esfahan, Yazd is the 15th largest city in Iran. the historical city is recognized as a world heritage site by UNESCO. Because of the desert surroundings, the city has a unique Persian architecture and it is called the city of wind catchers, this city is also very famous for it's Zoroastrian fire temples.the city was definitely a Zoroastrian center during Sassanian era. people in yazd are one of 
the most hospitable people in Iran, yazd is also known for its handicrafts and sweets and it welcomes the international and local tourists from all over the world every year.


Kerman is the largest and most developed city in kerman province and the most important city in the southeast of Iran, it is also one of of the largest cities of Iran in terms of area. Kerman is famous for its long history and strong cultural heritage.The city is home to many historic mosques and Zoroastrian fire temples, it is located on a large, flat plain, 800KM south-east of Tehran the capital of Iran.due to the special geographical conditions Kerman province enjoys considerable changeable climate,during the months of march-June has been recorded as 20-25 degree. These months are the most suitable for travelling and tourism, Kerman is also Iran's largest producer of handmade carpets and a major exporter of pistachio nuts.


Dasht-e lut
lut desert is a large salt desert located in the province of Kerman and Sistan va Baluchistan, Iran. It is one of the largest desert in the world and was inscribed on UNESCO's world heritage list on July 17, 2016. 

The surface of its sand has been measured with the temperatures as high as 76.6 degree making it one of the world's driest and hottest places. the area of the desert is about 51,800 square kilometers.

 during the spring wet season, water briefly flows down from the kerman mountains, but it soon dries up, leaving behind only rocks, sands and salt.The eastern part of Dasht-e lut is low plateau covered with salt flats. in contrast, the center has been sculpted by the wind into a series of parallel ridges and furrows, extending over 150KM and reaching 75 meters in height. this area is also riddled with ravines and sinkholes. The southeast is a vast expanse of sand, like a saharan erg, with sand dunes above 300 meters high, among the tallest in the world.The hottest part of dasht-e lut is Gandom beryan, a large plateau covered in dark lava, approximately 480 square kilometers in area,Due to its remoteness from major population centers and its extreme environmental conditions, including extreme heat and lack of water, much of the Lut Desert is inaccessible and therefore naturally protected and only can be access and visit in an expedition program form.
